OUR HOUSE BLENDS

American Gothic

All the char and robust earthiness of a classic French roast, but with a pleasing light finish that calls you back for more. Serve it black or with hot milk, accompanied by crusty bread and jam, for a traditional continental breakfast.

Giant of the Earth

A rich Italian roast in the Milanese style — sweet, mellow, full-bodied — this is a coffee to hold conversations over, or to serve while conducting business. With heavy cream and raw sugar, this is an excellent dessert accent.

Steamboat Bill

Light caramels and redolent coffee liquors lift this medium roast blend beyond the realm of the ordinary. A favorite "office" coffee because of its mass appeal and stimulating aroma that feeds the mind as well as the body.

St. Louis Blues

Scents of mountain blackberries, acorn and pinecones combine in this light breakfast blend that reminds us of the great outdoors. Take along a thermos full on your next fishing trip, or, better yet, sleep in late, take a mug with you to bed, and read the Sunday travel section.

Mystery Espresso Blend

Like all things European, there are at least two schools of thought. … Our espresso is from the old school — roasted a bit darker to bring out the flavorful oils; blended for balance, aroma, and body. Notes of caramel, chocolate and a citrus-like tang make this blend perfect for lattes and mochas, or of course by itself as a high-octane pick-me-up.

Heartland Blend

A blend of Ethiopian Konga and Mexican Chiapas create a well-balanced coffee for the everyday coffee drinker.

Sumatra

A deep, syrupy body with notes of dark chocolate and spice.

Colombian

Layered flavors of caramel, chocolate, cherry, and bright citrus create a well-balanced cup of coffee.

Guatemalan

The combination of strong shade, slow growing cycle and natural process create a unique, fruity, full-bodied coffee with a creamy aftertaste.

Ethiopian Konga - Holiday

A touch deeper than the popular Ethiopian Konga with notes of dark chocolate and caramel.

Decaf Java House Blend

A medium to dark roast decaf coffee with notes of dark chocolate and dried fruit. Uses a natural mountain water decaffeination process to help maintain the integrity of the bean to preserve the most natural flavor.

Decaf Peruvian

An intensely aromatic decaf coffee with notes of dark chocolate, vanilla, and a smooth, round body. The La Frontera project works directly with a community of five small co-operatives from the Valle del Santuario to produce this wonderful organic coffee. Natural Swiss water decaffeination process.

What is Fair Trade coffee?

Papua New Guinea

A medium roast creamy body coffee with notes of spiced, dried fruit and molasses. Comes from a region in Eastern highlands. Baroida refers to the farm where this coffee was grown.

Ehtiopian Ardi

A unique, multi-dimensional coffee with a fruity aroma and touch of citrus. Complemented by a lingering chocolate aftertaste.

Panama

A bright and fruity, tea-like coffee with a sweet, refined vanilla finish.

OUR DECAFFEINATED COFFEES

Peruvian Dark

Gratifyingly earthy, deep, and delicious, this Peruvian is full of bravado, with a slightly dark chocolatey finish. Remember when your dad said coffee would put hair on your chest? This is the coffee he meant. Drink it black if you dare!

Sumatra Dark

A foray into the damp earth, this is the coffee equivalent of a rain forest in its complexity. Rich and smoky, Sumatra's full body makes it a classic dessert coffee — by itself, with cream, or wedded with chocolate layer cake. Allow the flavors to linger and change in its long finish.

Costa Rican Tarrazu

This coffee is grown in a high-altitude, volcanic environment. Its unique flavor suggests sweet, ripe oranges and moist, rich earth. The beans are French-roasted to creat a medium body and pleasant sweetness. A perfect daytime coffee, try it with a splash of milk for a smooth, rich afternoon delight.

Colombia Supremo

From the famous Pitalito Coffee Estate of Colombia, these beans are hand-picked for perfection. This coffee is so smooth and delicious, you won't believe that it's decaf.
